National Park College (NPC) will host tryouts for the Nighthawk Basketball team April 22 in the gymnasium. The team will begin a competitive travel schedule for the fall 2017 semester. Open tryouts for women will be from 12 to 2 p.m. and for men from 3 to 6 p.m.

Bill Solleder, Special Events Manager at Visit Hot Springs asked Advertising and Graphic Design students at National Park Technology Center (NPTC) to participate in a poster design competition for this year’s Annual Fishing Challenge. Designs were submitted by area high school juniors and seniors.

National Park Technology Center (NPTC) Health Science Technology Education (HSTE) Level 2 students earned 40 medical certifications this semester. Twenty-five students passed the Certified Medical Records Technician national certification examination and 15 passed the Certified Medical Billing Specialist national certification examination.
