Professional Licensure Information

Federal regulation 34 CFR 668.43(a)(5)(v) requires an institution to make readily available to enrolled and prospective students whether programs leading to professional licensure or certification meet educational requirements in other states.

Students considering pursuing an academic program that leads to professional licensure are advised that NPC's programs prepare students to practice in the State of Arkansas and are not intended to prepare students for out-of-state licensure. NPC has not determined whether its curriculum prepares students for licensure in any other state.

Students enrolled in NPC's programs seeking to practice outside the state of Arkansas are advised to contact the appropriate licensing agency within their home state to seek information and additional guidance before beginning a program outside of their home state.

At this time, all NPC programs with Professional Licensure are accepted in the state of Arkansas. These programs include:

  • Automotive Service Technology
  • Emergency Medical Services – Paramedic
  • Emergency Medical Technician
  • Health Information Technology
  • Hospitality & Tourism Management
  • Industrial Technology
  • Marine Technology
  • Medical Laboratory Technology
  • Networking & Cybersecurity
  • Practical Nursing
  • Radiologic Technology
  • Registered Nursing
  • Respiratory Care

For all other states and territories in the United States, acceptance of Arkansas licensures has yet to be determined. For more information, contact Donna Kay via email at or by phone at 501-760-4361.
