NPTC STUDENTS TAKE GOLD AT STATE COMPETITION
National Park Technology Center (NPTC) won top honors during last week’s state Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) competition at the Hot Springs Convention Center.
Health Science Technology Education (HSTE) students Katelyn Ostrem from Lake Hamilton High School and Kirstie Pennington from Lakeside High School collaborated with ITC Director, William Polk to produce a streamlined supportive ankle brace made of carbon fiber. The students also worked with aerospace instructor Al Bradbury, and the Arizona Brace Company.
The following students placed in their respective competition areas:

Saria Sharif, Hot Springs High School
3rd Place - Pathophysiology
Bianca Rodriguez, Hot Springs High School
