NPC Library To Host Public Book Sale

National Park College (NPC) Library will host a book sale Wednesday and Thursday, October 18-19 from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Friday, October 20 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The sale is open to the public and will be located outside of the library building at 101 College Drive.

The National Park College welding classes attended the American Welding Society's monthly meeting at Prospect Steel, a bridge manufacturer in Little Rock this week. The topic of the meeting was sub arc welding and students were provided with a plant tour.

National Park College (NPC) is coordinating a series of events on Manufacturing Day October 6. Four area manufacturing companies and suppliers are providing industry tours, guest speakers, and participating in NPC campus events. Six local public schools have registered to participate with more than 500 students.

National Park College (NPC) began training for a Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Apprenticeship Program last week. The Department of Labor Office of Apprenticeship recently approved the program in July 2017.

Intramural Soccer Tournament

National Park College (NPC) intramural soccer teams competed in the College’s first 3-on-3 soccer tournament Monday. Team Bee Thao won the tournament against Team Los Gueyes with a score of 10-7 in the final game.
