Most programs and courses satisfactorily completed at this institution will transfer to other colleges and universities throughout the United States. Emergency Medical Sciences

The Emergency Medical Sciences (EMS) program is approved by the Arkansas Department of Health to provide EMS education. NPC’s Paramedic program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (www.caahep.org) upon the recommendation of the Committee on Accreditation of Education Programs for the EMS Professions (CoAEMSP). Health Information Technology

Medical Laboratory Technology

Nursing

Both the AS (RN) and the PN (LPN) Certificate are approved by the Arkansas State Board of Nursing. The Associate degree nursing program at National Park College located in Hot Springs, Arkansas, is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN). The most recent accreditation decision made by the ACEN Board of Commissioners for the Associate nursing program is continuing accreditation. Radiologic Technology

The Radiologic Technology program at National Park College is accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT). The program’s current award is eight years and may be found using JRCERT's Find a Program feature. Accreditation of an educational program by the JRCERT provides students and graduates assurance that the educational program will provide them with the knowledge, skills, and values to competently perform the range of professional responsibilities expected by potential employers nationwide. Professional Licensure

Federal regulation 34 CFR 668.43(a)(5)(v) requires an institution to make readily available to enrolled and prospective students whether programs leading to professional licensure or certification meet educational requirements in other states.

Students enrolled in NPC's programs seeking to practice outside the state of Arkansas are advised to contact the appropriate licensing agency within their home state to seek information and additional guidance before beginning a program outside of their home state.

At this time, NPC offers the Health Information Technology (HIT) program online. Graduates of this program are eligible to take a national certification exam to become a Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT).
