One of the largest challenges our region faces over the next five years is developing a qualified, skilled and motivated workforce. National Park College will address those needs and continue to partner with area businesses to train and educate employees. Workforce and apprenticeship programming provide the resources to help our community thrive and support our area employers and careers critical to the future of our region’s vitality. Investment opportunities include:
- Workforce and apprenticeship programming, including welding, automotive technology, marine repair technology, HVAC, plumbing, manufacturing and aerospace
- Workforce and apprenticeship scholarships
- Innovation award program: Provide mini-grants to students, faculty, and staff to create projects that foster innovation and promote college/community involvement
