Cristina Puckett, LCSW

Headshot Cristina PuckettI am a mental health professional who is passionate about providing support to people on their life’s journey.
Raised in a military family with all that it entails, I developed open-mindedness and a strong appreciation for the richness that diversity offers. Since my first psychology class, I’ve been intrigued by mental health and how it affects every aspect of a person’s life, such as relationships, emotional well-being, and behaviors.
Pursuing my interest, I earned an Associate’s of Arts at National Park College (NPC) in 2016 before continuing on for a Master’s in Social Work from University of Arkansas at Little Rock in 2019.

Since then, I’ve continued to interact with people from diverse backgrounds, working with them to meet mental health needs by offering a person-centered approach paired with my natural inclination to empathy, genuineness, critical thinking, and focus on solutions. As a licensed certified social worker (LCSW), I have expertise in many areas, including depression, anxiety, trauma, substance misuse, relationship issues, and life transitions.

Now working at NPC as a Behavior Intervention Specialist, I’ve come full circle back to my roots. I’m pleased to be a part of the growth here and to offer my services to students, staff, and faculty.
