Dean Hudnell leads the men's march for International Women's Day

International Women's Day

National Park College hosted an event in celebration of International Women’s Day Wednesday with guest speaker, Minnie Lennox and a Walk a Mile in Her Shoes® men’s march. The march is a playful way to increase awareness for serious women’s issues, including sexualized violence against women. The march featured male faculty, staff and students from a variety of areas on campus who were fitted with red high heeled shoes and given a pathway to walk.

National Park College (NPC) hosted the fifth annual Van Davis Memorial 5K Run/Walk Saturday. To date the event has raised more than $50,000 for the Van Davis Memorial Scholarship endowment.

The NPC Student Government Association participated in the two-year college SGA Day at the Capitol Feb. 14. Students toured the Capitol grounds, attended committee meetings, visited with legislators, and attended the legislators luncheon hosted by Arkansas Community Colleges.
