NPC Approves Budget, Adopts Strategic Plan
May 28, 2025The National Park College (NPC) Board of Trustees held their regular monthly meeting Wednesday, where they approved the 2025-26 annual budget and adopted the 2025-30 strategic plan.
Due to inclement weather, NPC will campus will remain closed and all NPC students and employees will continue remote operations Friday, January 30.

National Park College Celebrates 2025 Graduates at Commencement Ceremony
Students in the biology/pre-health degree partnership between National Park College (NPC) and Southern Arkansas University (SAU) presented original research at the SAU College of Science and Engineering Undergraduate Research Conference earlier this month.
The National Park College (NPC) Nighthawks baseball team (33-22-1, 15-9) recently concluded its season in the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Region 2 Tournament, hosted by Majestic Park. NPC defeated Northern Oklahoma College-Enid (NOC-Enid), 4-2, in the first round, followed by a 14-4 loss to South Arkansas College in the second round and a 9-8 extra-innings defeat to Arkansas State University-Mountain Home (ASU-Mountain Home) in the loser’s bracket.
Six members of the National Park College (NPC) Nighthawk softball team were named to the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division II All-Region 2 Team this week for their outstanding efforts on the field this season.
The National Park College (NPC) Nighthawks softball team (34-24, 23-9) recently completed its season in the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Central Plains District Tournament, hosted by Murray State College. The Nighthawks defeated Arkansas State University-Newport (ASU-N), 7-1, in the tournament opener, followed by a 4-0 loss to No. 22 University of Arkansas Rich Mountain (UARM), a 9-1 victory over Arkansas State University-Three Rivers (ASU-TR) and a 9-1 defeat to Western Oklahoma State College (WOSC).

National Park College (NPC) Workforce Division is excited to announce a new hands-on course open to the public this summer: Nighthawk Tracks: Trail Building Essentials. This non-credit class introduces participants to the fundamental skills used in maintaining and constructing recreational trails.
