The National Park College welding classes attended the American Welding Society's monthly meeting at Prospect Steel, a bridge manufacturer in Little Rock this week. The topic of the meeting was sub arc welding and students were provided with a plant tour.

National Park College SGA hosted a Constitution Day celebration Monday with a raucous debate between Dr. Charles Argo and Dr. Christopher Thrasher about the ratification of the Constitution. Students were able to participate with water balloons and free copies of the U.S. Constitution.
NPTC High School Pre-Engineering students visited the Garland County Habitat for Humanity site today. Their tour guide was Paul Grasse, who gave a detailed description of how Habitat for Humanity plans each home, the techniques used during construction, and also how Habitat for Humanity works as an organization.
National Park College (NPC) has received a grant from the National College Testing Association (NCTA) to help with costs associated with the Partners for Student Success conference to be held October 4-6 at the Hot Springs Convention Center.
