Criteria

If you are transferring to the University of Arkansas at Fort Smith (UAFS), refer to the NPC-to-UAFS Post-Graduation Transfer Degree Checklist.

If you are transferring to a university other than UAFS, complete this checklist if you meet the following criteria:

• You have completed an associate degree at NPC.
• You need to take additional courses to complete a second degree.

Steps

STEP 1: Find and print your transfer degree plan and graduation map which are listed in Transfer Opportunities at np.edu/Transfer.

STEP 2: Meet with the NPC faculty mentor shown in the catalog for your transfer degree or with an NPC academic advisor to review your degree plan/graduation map and determine courses you need to take.

STEP 3: Complete the NPC online admissions application. Be sure to select the appropriate options for information requested in IV. Educational Information.

• Seeking admission as  - Select Re-Admit.
• What is your intended degree plan? Select the option that describes the associate degree you are now completing.

STEP 4: If you receive financial aid, review the financial aid information and submit all applicable forms by the published deadlines.

STEP 5: After you have been advised and re-admitted to NPC in the appropriate degree plan, register for your course(s).

• You may go directly to Oasis to register for classes online.
• Refer to the schedule of classes for availability of classes.

STEP 6: Schedule an appointment with the NPC transfer advisor to discuss the application and transfer scholarship process at your transfer university.

• Look for NPC transfer event announcements on the NPC website, campus calendar, campus monitors, and D2L.
