Nighthawk men's and women's basketball will hold two Elite Camps for boys and
girls entering grades 9-12.
Men's Elite Camp
Dates: September 6, 2025
Meets: Sa from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM
Registration Fee: $50.00
Designed for elite players to get exposure, the camp will offer offensive concepts
and skill development from current Nighthawk players and coaches. For more information,

Experience a day in the life of a college athlete with a behind-the-scenes look at
how the reigning Regional Champion Nighthawk women train, grind and dominate. Feel
the intensity of a real practice featuring current NPC players and coaches. Do you

Summer Camp Series
Summer camps are open to students entering the 3rd to the 10th grade. Please see the
list below for full details on available summer camps.
Adventures in Art will take campers on an artistic journey of pottery. Campers will
experience different pottery techniques. Each camper will make a ceramic piece of
an animal/character theme and paint it with underglaze colors. The pottery piece will
be fired in the kiln and ready for pick up at a later date.

Explore painting in this fun summer camp with art instructor Rose. Campers will learn
the basics of color, and color blending. Get creative in this art camp. Campers will

Maker I/O is a STEM-based computer science camp to kickstart your child's future in
programming, gaming, and the world of microcontrollers. This camp provides hands-on
learning to those new to programming or who enjoy computer science and gaming. We
will use Block Coding and Python and learn how to set up and use a Raspberry Pi Pico,
plus more!

With the Microsoft Minecraft education curriculum, students will learn computer science
in a fun and engaging environment while using the all-time favorite game, Minecraft.
Minecraft has over 140 million active users and is a common go-to for both young and
older students. The curriculum promotes and encourages a coding mindset while teaching
computational problem-solving skills. The students will learn the core concepts of
programming in Minecraft using the convenience of block-style coding. The skills learned
in this curriculum can later be transferred into careers in the gaming/esports or
general computer science fields.

If you are fascinated with space and what lies beyond our Earth, then our Rocket Summer
Camp is perfect for young future engineers. Join us to learn about, make and experiment
with rockets. We will soar into the world of rocketry with hands on manufacturing
techniques and demonstrations. Starting with the basic Laws of Motion to design and
optimize our rockets for flight. Come watch your creation take flight! With the Rocket
Science Curriculum, students will grasp the fundamental principles of engineering
via hands-on manufacturing and demonstration. The curriculum emphasizes problem-solving
skills throughout the design and manufacturing phases, in a creative and supportive
environment. The skills acquired transition into careers within the engineering, manufacturing,
and computer science fields.

Welcome to the world of programmable autonomous robots - Drones! In this camp we will
learn how to program and fly drones in a unique and creative way. We will introduce
students to drone safety, operation, and block programming before moving into fun
activities and challenges. We will utilize problem solving, critical thinking, and
eye-hand coordination skills. The skills learned in this curriculum are geared towards
the next generation of engineers and scientists. These skills can be later transferred
into careers in farming, mapping/surveying, and firefighting.

With the Lego Robotics curriculum, students will learn how to bring their favorite
set of toys, Legos, to life. The Lego Robotics curriculum will allow students to build
and assemble Lego Robots before programming them. Students will learn core concepts
of programming using the convenience of block-style coding in the Lego Education Spike
App. The curriculum promotes and encourages a coding mindset while teaching computational
problem-solving skills. The skills learned in this curriculum can later be transferred
into careers in the robotics, mechanical engineering, or general computer science
fields.

In our 3D printing camp, we will explore the world of turning your 3D design into
physical reality. We will start by learning about the principles of 3D printing technology
before moving into creating a design in 3D space. After the design has been created,
we will watch it come to life by printing our creations. This camp will offer exciting
challenges rewarded by tangible 3D prints. The skills learned in this curriculum utilize
CAD and industrial design processes that can be later transferred into careers in
the mechanical engineering, manufacturing and robotics fields.

Welcome to Global Eats Culinary camp, where young chefs embark on a flavorful journey
around the world! At Global Eats, campers will learn basic knife skills, kitchen safety,
and the art of plating and presentation. Campers will explore nutrition, including
vegetarian and vegan options, while delving into international cuisines. From Asian
stir-fries to Italian classics, our campers will learn to create delicious dishes
while honing their food photography skills. Join us for a culinary adventure that
is both educational and delicious!

Campers will learn the fundamentals of film making including scriptwriting and storyboards,
casting, responsibilities of every position on a working film including directing,
acting, camera operation, choreography, set design, music composition and editing.

Campers will explore the world of music and storytelling alongside entertainer Tommy
Stanco. During this camp, you experience the magic of storytelling while learning
about different stage performance techniques such as poetry and songwriting, vocal
techniques, creative dramatics and some basic magic tricks. Campers will create mini
play by the end of the camp.

Learn the art of dance by experiencing a different style of dance each day. Campers
will learn different techniques in Ballet, Lyrical, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Jazz and
Musical Theatre. Please wear comfortable athletic clothing.
Sports Camps
If you are interested in college sports, NPC’s sports camps are the perfect opportunity
to discover which sport(s) are for you. Campers will learn new and exciting skills
and will receive instruction from NPC’s Nighthawk coaches and student athletes.

National Park College Baseball campers will get to interact with players and coaches
from the Nighthawks Baseball program for three days covering all facets of the game.
Learn pitching, hitting, fielding and base running just like the college athletes.
We will have a fun environment for all levels of baseball competitors. Camp will be
held at Majestic Park. Please bring your glove, sunscreen and a water bottle. Each
camper will receive a Nighthawk Baseball Camp t-shirt.
June 23 - 24 at National Park College
1st - 4th grade will be from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.
5th - 8th grade will be from 1 - 4 p.m.

National Park College Basketball campers will get to interact with players and coaches
from the Nighthawks Basketball program to learn all facets of the game. We will have
a fun environment for all levels of basketball competitors. Camp will be held on campus
at the gym complex. Please bring a water bottle. Each camper will receive a Nighthawk
Basketball Camp t-shirt.
