Summer Camp Series
Summer camps are open to students entering the 3rd to the 10th grade. Classes offered
in both morning and afternoon sessions are not continuations and have the same activities.
Morning Sessions
Dates: June 13-23 and July 11-21, Monday - Thursday
Times: 9 a.m. to 10:20 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Open to grades 3rd - 10th
Cost: $175
You will be able choose 2 camps for this session.
The Morning Mix up class is for early drop off from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. at no extra
cost and does not count toward your two choices.
Mix up your morning with energizing activities such as, minute-to-win it games, yoga
and other activities.
Maker - IO, is a STEM-based computer science camp to kickstart your child's future
in programming, gaming, and the world of microcontrollers. This camp provides hands-on
learning to those new to programming or who enjoy computer science and gaming. We
will use Block Coding and Python for use in robotics and how to set up and use a Raspberry
Pi, plus more.
Learn the basics of drone flight and operation by building your own drone, learning
how to fly small drones with manual and programmed flight, then finalizing by navigating
through a race course.
Writing can be used in many different ways that can be fun and interactive, from the
art of poetry, drama, fiction, and so much more. Discover your creativity by making
paper, writing a story and learning the art of calligraphy.
Menu Masters is an advanced culinary camp for students who have completed Shakers
& Bakers or the culinary camp from summer 2021. In this camp students will explore
recipes that focus on pairing, sides, and flavor enhancements, while having the freedom
to experiment on their own. Students will participate in a cooking competition at
the conclusion of the camp.
In this entry level culinary camp, students will learn the basics of what makes a
kitchen work. Shaker topics will include: learning their way around the kitchen, reading
and understanding recipes, creating grocery lists, and “virtual” grocery shopping.
Baker topics will include: flavor experiences with popcorn, from scratch pizza, and
dessert days.
Learn basic first aid and life saving skills. Campers will apply the skills and knowledge
to survive a ZOMBIE OUTBREAK! We may encounter sick or injured people on our way to
seek safety, but remember the zombies will be loose at National Park College.
Learn to express yourself through art. Whether it’s doodling, drawing or painting,
you can activate the mind and use art as an outlet for stress release and self-expression.
This hands on building experience is designed to teach campers basic woodworking skills.
Campers will learn safety techniques and how to use basic woodworking tools and will
put it all together to bring a finished product home.
Afternoon Sessions
Dates: June 13-23 and July 11-21, Monday - Thursday
Times: 12:30 p.m. to 1:50 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 3:20 p.m.
Open to grades 3rd - 10th
Cost: $175
You will be able choose 2 camps for this session.
The Self Defense & Awareness class is for extended pick up from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00
p.m. at no extra cost and does not count toward your two choices.
Join R.A.D. certified Diana Strong to learn effective self-defense techniques. Campers
will develop these techniques into muscle memory, while hitting bags and targets with
force, and develop confidence and power both physically and within.
If you are fascinated with space and what lies beyond our Earth then our Rocket Summer
Camp is perfect for you. Join us to learn about, make and experiment with rockets.
We will soar into the world of rocketry with hands on learning techniques and demonstrations.
Starting with the basic Laws of Motion to design and optimize our rockets.
Learn the basics of 2D and 3D design with 3D printing and laser cutting. Students
will learn how to design in CAD, how 3D printers and laser cutters function, and create
their designs using the 3D printers and laser cutter.
A performing arts camp to learn the art of becoming an Illusionist. Campers will learn
to perform in front of the camera to learn tips and tricks to become the next TikTok
sensation.
Solve the Case of the Missing Championship Trophy! Analyze evidence to find out who
took the trophy from the trophy case! Campers will learn about evidence collection,
fingerprinting, blood typing, blood splatter analysis, handwriting analysis, ink chromatography,
and a variety of measurements like length, circumference, and pH.

If you are interested in college sports then NPC’s sports camps are the perfect opportunity
to discover which sport(s) are for you. Campers will learn new and exciting skills
and will receive instruction from NPC’s Nighthawk coaches and student athletes.
Students will have on the floor instruction from Nighthawk coaches and student-athletes.
Camp will consist of basketball drills as well as games and skill contests. Each camper
will receive a Nighthawk Basketball Camp T-shirt.

National Park College Baseball campers will get to interact with players and coaches
from the Nighthawks Baseball program for three days covering all facets of the game.
Learn pitching, hitting, fielding and base running just like the college athletes.
We will have a fun environment for all levels of baseball competitors.
Please bring your own glove, sunscreen and a water bottle.

from the Nighthawks Softball program for three days covering all facets of the game.

Cost: $100
NPC will be hosting its first youth soccer camp. Children ages 6-13 will work through
drills developing basic soccer skills such as passing, dribbling, defending, and shooting
with current players on the NPC Men's and Women's soccer teams. Each day will end
with small-sided play, ranging from 3 vs 3 to 7 vs 7, depending on camp numbers. Campers
can expect to learn new and exciting skills, drills, and perspectives related to soccer
from our talented and diverse counselors.
Take your English skills to the next level. Campers will learn the process of learning
and incorporating values, beliefs, language and customs into the environment they
are living in. Topics covered will include basic financial skills, pop culture, culinary
skills, history and more.
It is never too early to start thinking about college. Join us at National Park College
to learn what life on a college campus is like. Campers will learn about admissions
and scholarships, financial planning, will experience what a day in the life of a
college student is like, how to cook in a residence hall and much more.
