Adventures in Art will take campers on an artistic journey. Campers will experience
different techniques including pottery, painting, collage, and cardboard construction
to create a unique book. Each camper will make one ceramic piece of an animal/character theme and paint
it with underglaze colors, paint pages for the story book and cut up collage pages,
create a cardboard character (animal), paint it, and have articulated arms and legs and will
combine all these elements into a book with a story of adventure and journey. The
pottery piece will be fired in the kiln and ready for pick up at a later date.

This fiber arts class will introduce weaving techniques for making fabric. Students
will learn how to weave on a Inkle, pin, cardboard, and frame looms. They will have
the opportunity to make various items from their woven creations such as, bookmarks,
bracelets, hot pads, and pocket bags.

STEM-based computer science camp to kickstart your child's future in programming,
gaming, and the world of microcontrollers. This camp provides hands-on learning to
those new to programming or who enjoy computer science and gaming. We will use Block
Coding and Python and learn how to set up and use a Raspberry Pi Pico, plus more!

With the Microsoft Minecraft education curriculum, students will learn computer science
in a fun and engaging environment while using the all-time favorite game, Minecraft.
Minecraft has over 140 million active users and is a common go-to for both young and
older students. The curriculum promotes and encourages a coding mindset while teaching
computational problem-solving skills. The students will learn the core concepts of
programming in Minecraft using the convenience of block-style coding. The skills learned
in this curriculum can later be transferred into careers in the gaming/esports or
general computer science fields.

If you are fascinated with space and what lies beyond our Earth, then our Rocket Summer
Camp is perfect for young future engineers. Join us to learn about, make and experiment
with rockets. We will soar into the world of rocketry with hands on manufacturing
techniques and demonstrations. Starting with the basic Laws of Motion to design and
optimize our rockets for flight. Come watch your creation take flight! With the Rocket
Science Curriculum, students will grasp the fundamental principles of engineering
via hands-on manufacturing and demonstration. The curriculum emphasizes problem-solving
skills throughout the design and manufacturing phases, in a creative and supportive
environment. The skills acquired transition into careers within the engineering, manufacturing,
and computer science fields.

set of toys, Legos, to life. The Lego Robotics curriculum will allow students to build

Welcome to Global Eats Culinary camp, where young chefs embark on a flavorful journey
around the world! At Global Eats, campers will learn basic knife skills, kitchen safety,

stir-fries to Italian classics, our campers will learn to create delicious dishes

Help! Someone from an enemy planet has tangled up the timeline! Team up with Tungsten
from the planet Me Tal to "travel through time" and learn about Earth. On your journey,
you will solve puzzles and put the timeline back in order. If you're really smart,

Campers will explore the world of music and storytelling alongside entertainer Tommy
Stanco. During this camp, you experience the magic of storytelling while learning

Learn the art of dance by experiencing a different style of dance each day. Campers
will learn different techniques in Ballet, Lyrical, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Jazz and

Sports Camps
If you are interested in college sports, NPC’s sports camps are the perfect opportunity
to discover which sport(s) are for you. Campers will learn new and exciting skills
and will receive instruction from NPC’s Nighthawk coaches and student athletes.

National Park College Baseball campers will get to interact with players and coaches
from the Nighthawks Baseball program for three days covering all facets of the game.
Learn pitching, hitting, fielding and base running just like the college athletes.
We will have a fun environment for all levels of baseball competitors. Camp will be
held at Majestic Park. Please bring your glove, sunscreen and a water bottle. Each
camper will receive a Nighthawk Baseball Camp t-shirt.

Campers will work through drills developing basic soccer skills such as passing, dribbling,
defending, and shooting with current players on the NPC men’s and women’s soccer teams.
Each day will end with small-sided play, ranging from 3 vs 3 to 7 vs 7, depending
on camp numbers. Campers can expect to learn new and exciting skills, drills, and
perspectives related to soccer from our talented and diverse counselors.
