National Park College offers a variety of scholarships to incoming and returning students. Some require application and some are direct award (no application required). The direct award scholarships include academic and performance/participation scholarships. Scholarships administered through the NPC (National Park College) Foundation require a scholarship application.
Overall Scholarship Guidelines
- Students must be degree seeking.
- Award amounts may be used to pay for tuition, fees, and books.
- Scholarships are awarded in the fall and spring only.
- All institutional and foundation scholarships are non-refundable to students.
Academic scholarships are awarded based on the student’s final high school grade-point average (GPA) and ACT or SAT composite test score. Students must meet all scholarship requirements at the time of application to qualify.
How to apply:
There is no formal scholarship application for academic scholarships. Students should complete the NPC Admissions Application and submit unofficial transcripts by the early decision or priority deadline. There are limited scholarships available. Students are encouraged to apply early.

Academic Scholarship Guidelines
- Academic scholarships may not be combined, only one per student.
- Students must complete 12 credit hours with a grade of “D” or better, maintain CGPA requirement as listed above, and comply with the NPC Satisfactory Academic Progress policy for renewal.
- Students can expect scholarship awards to be applied to their financial aid accounts by June 30th.
Participation and performance scholarships are awarded to students involved in certain campus activities. There is no application for these awards. Students are selected by program representatives each semester. For additional information contact the program sponsor.

General Scholarships
The NPC Foundation administers a variety of scholarships made possible by the generosity of local donors. Students may apply for all of these scholarships (excluding nursing/health science related, see below) using the new Scholarship Universe application portal. How to apply:
Log into Scholarship Universe and complete the matching questions. These questions will help match students to scholarships for which they qualify. After being matched with scholarships just complete the scholarship application and provide the required documents.
- Application opens – October 1st
- Application closes – April 1st
- Student data updated for spring GPA, credit hours, etc. – May (once grades post)
- Scholarships sent to committees for review – 3rd week in May
- Scholarships under review – 3rd week in May – June 30th
- Scholarship winners awarded in SU and list sent to the Foundation to notify students – 1st week in July
- Scholarships posted to student accounts – July/August
