Description: Founded in 1876, the American Chemical Society (ACS) is the world's largest scientific society. The mission of the ACS is to promote chemistry and chemical education for the benefit of the Hot Springs community. Everyone is welcome to attend and participate in all ACS events; however, membership is required for officer roles and voting rights.

Description: The Baptist Collegiate Ministries (BCM) provides a welcoming community for students to explore and deepen their faith. BCM organizes events, Bible studies, and community service projects aimed at fostering spiritual growth and fellowship among students. All students are welcome.

Description: Believers United in Christ (United) is a non-denominational Christian student organization welcoming anyone interested in Christianity and the Bible. Their purpose is to connect with others, study the Bible, and serve the campus community. They meet weekly for Bible study and host campus-wide prayer opportunities throughout the year.

Description: The Black Student Association (BSA) is a progressive organization that creates a supportive and empowering community for Black students. The BSA is committed to fostering cultural education, social justice, and an inclusive campus environment. Description: The Helping Hawks Food Pantry Club is a student-led organization that provides a temporary source of non-perishable food items to students and employees of NPC. They collect and distribute food through various means, including food drives.

Description: The NAMI on Campus Club is a student-led organization that tackles mental health issues by raising awareness, providing education, support, and advocacy. They work to create a campus environment where everyone feels supported, regardless of whether they are living with a mental health condition, are a family member or friend of someone who is, or simply have an interest in mental health. The club is open to students, faculty and staff.

Description: Phi Theta Kappa is the international honor society for two-year colleges. The NPC chapter is Alpha Beta Psi. Students with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher are eligible for membership. Description: The Pre-Health Professions Committee supports students interested in healthcare careers. They facilitate the development of future healthcare providers by creating study groups, sharing knowledge and providing opportunities for volunteering and career exploration.

Description: The Pride Hawks is a student-led Gay-Straight Alliance (GSA) open to all LGBTQ+ and non-LGBTQ+ students. The purpose of this club is to create a safe and accepting space for fellowship. Activities may be social, educational or service-oriented.

The Student Government Association (SGA) is the official representative body of the student body. The SGA serves as a critical liaison between students and the college administration, faculty, and staff. The organization works to enhance the educational experience at NPC by advocating for student concerns and promoting initiatives that improve the quality and value of student life. SGA members gain valuable leadership skills through participation in service projects, organization of student activities, and interaction with a diverse range of people. These experiences contribute to their personal and professional development.

Description: The Sustainability Club is a student organization dedicated to promoting environmental responsibility on campus. They focus on reducing waste, encouraging environmentally friendly choices and fostering community involvement. Current activities include monthly litter cleanups and co-sponsoring a campus Earth Day celebration each spring.

Description: The Vet Hawks is the official organization for student veterans. They aim to create a supportive community for veterans, help them succeed academically and personally, and ease the transition from military to civilian life. Membership is open to veterans, active duty personnel, National Guard, reservists, military dependents and anyone interested in supporting student veterans.

Description: The Write Hawks is a student organization for creative writers. They welcome students interested in fiction, nonfiction, poetry, song lyrics and plays. The Write Hawks hold regular meetings for sharing and critiquing writing, discussing the craft and completing writing exercises. They also host a Fall Fiction Contest and manage a D2L community page.

Description: Alpha Delta Nu is an honor society for associate degree nursing students. Membership is based on academic achievement and professional conduct. Students are invited to join in their third semester and participate in a group community service project. Induction occurs in the fourth semester upon project completion and maintaining academic requirements.

Description: All students enrolled in the NPC nursing program are automatically members of their class organization. These organizations elect officers and participate in projects that promote student success, nursing professionalism, community service and the nursing pinning ceremony.
