Students Calculate Sun Angles For Babe Ruth Statue
February 9, 2023Students in Dr. George Maxey’s Geology class attended the unveiling of the Babe Ruth Statue at Majestic Park this week.
Due to lingering ice accumulation on buildings and walkways across campus, and to prioritize the safety of our campus community, National Park College will continue remote operations on Monday, February 2. With temperatures expected to drop overnight, refreezing is anticipated and may create hazardous conditions Monday morning.

The National Park College (NPC) Nighthawks softball team (4-3) competed in the Mardi Gras Invitational over the weekend, dropping a 9-1 decision to East Central Community College and a 5-1 decision to Pearl River Community College Friday, while avenging an 11-5 loss to Itawamba Community College with a 3-1 victory over Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College Saturday.
The National Park College (NPC) Nighthawks baseball team (2-4) dropped its four-game series against No. 3 LSU Eunice over the weekend, dropping a 10-2 decision Friday, a 5-0 decision Saturday and falling, 10-0, and 15-1, respectively on Sunday.
