Nighthawks Baseball Splits With Arkansas Baptist

February 3, 2020

The National Park College (NPC) Nighthawk baseball team took two of four games against Arkansas Baptist College in the program’s historic debut this weekend at Hot Springs World Class High School, defeating the Buffaloes 6-0 in the opener and falling, 3-2, in the nightcap on Saturday, while dropping a 6-3 battle in the opener and claiming a 3-1 victory in the nightcap on Sunday.

NPC Opens New Marine Technology Building

National Park College (NPC) opens the new Marine Technology building. The 7,500 square foot metal structure is 60 feet deep and 125 feet in length with four 25 x 60 foot bays. The interior space includes a large shop area, a classroom, office and storage space with room to expand.

NPTC Student Wins Habitat for Humanity Logo Contest

National Park Technology Center (NPTC) student Gabriel Garza was selected as the Garland County Habitat for Humanity logo contest winner this month. Garza is a junior at Lakeside High School and is currently enrolled in the NPTC Advertising and Design program.

The National Park College (NPC) Nighthawk men’s and women’s basketball teams took down Arkansas Baptist College in “The Kettle” Tuesday, with the Nighthawk women defeating the Lady Buffaloes, 83-63, and the Nighthawk men winning, 78-67.

The National Park College (NPC) Nighthawk men’s and women’s basketball teams split in NJCAA Region II Division II action at SAU Tech Saturday, with the Nighthawk women defeating the Lady Rockets, 86-72, and the Nighthawk men falling, 95-88.
