National Park College (NPC) Student Government Association (SGA) will host a Spring Car Show April 8 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will take place in the parking lot of the Fisher Campus Center at 101 College Drive.
National Park College hosted an event in celebration of International Women’s Day Wednesday with guest speaker, Minnie Lennox and a Walk a Mile in Her Shoes® men’s march. The march is a playful way to increase awareness for serious women’s issues, including sexualized violence against women. The march featured male faculty, staff and students from a variety of areas on campus who were fitted with red high heeled shoes and given a pathway to walk.
The NPC Student Government Association participated in the two-year college SGA Day at the Capitol Feb. 14. Students toured the Capitol grounds, attended committee meetings, visited with legislators, and attended the legislators luncheon hosted by Arkansas Community Colleges.
