There are several steps that must be followed when applying to the NPC Registered Nursing (RN) program. Please take care to follow all of the steps in the order listed below.

  • Apply for admissions to the College and submit all required documents. This application is only for acceptance to NPC. You must also complete the Registered Nursing Application for admission to the RN program.
  • Register to attend one of the mandatory RN admissions meetings. Registrations close 24 hours prior to the meeting. Attendance to one of these meetings is mandatory and your file will be considered incomplete if you do not attend a meeting. You will receive a link to the meeting 24 - 48 hours in advance of the meeting date. You may contact the Nursing Division secretary at 501.760.4290 to check the status of your registration.
  • Complete the Registered Nursing application.
    • You must include all of the answers from page two of the application.
    • Prior to enrollment, all official college transcripts must be on file with the NPC Registrar's Office.
    • Incomplete or late applications will not be considered for admission.
  • Meet with your nursing faculty advisor.
    • An advisor will be assigned to you within five business days after the admissions meeting. You will be contacted to schedule a meeting with your advisor.
    • In this meeting, we will:
      • Review your unofficial transcript for completed and current coursework to evaluate the status of pre-requisite requirements. You must bring copies of unofficial transcripts from all previously attended schools.
      • You may submit your nursing program application.
      • Ensure that you have registered or will register for the Assessment Technologies Institute® Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS) entry exam.

If you register to test and fail to attend, there will be an additional $20 fee to reschedule. If you cannot test on one of the scheduled dates, contact the Nursing Division secretary for instructions.
  • TEAS scares are valid for two years. TEAS must be taken at an approved testing site. The utilization of online proctoring software is not acceptable.
