How many students do you accept in the PN program?

Typically, we accept 50 PN students. Admission letters are sent out in June.

What if I don't have all my courses completed before time of application? Will I have to wait another year?

There are two pre-requisite courses that must be completed before beginning the first nursing course. The other required general education courses must be completed at specific points during your degree program. If you are enrolled in courses in the spring or summer semester, they must be completed with a "C" or better to progress to Nursing Process I. When your application is submitted, your GPA will be calculated for the completed courses and re-calculated following the spring semester to determine your academic standing for admission.

What if I need to be full-time to receive scholarships?

Your nursing advisor can help you select courses that will apply toward an Associate of Science in Nursing and/or a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree allowing you to fulfill the FT schedule requirement.
