Print Checklist

Thank you for your interest in NPC's Radiologic Technology program. Please complete all of  the following steps. 

Applications will be accepted on Fridays, starting on April 2, April 9, April 16 and April 23 through our scheduled bookings, please see STEP 5.

STEP 1: If you are not a current NPC student, please apply for admission. Send all official transcripts from high school and college. If being mailed, please send to 101 College Drive, Hot Springs, AR 71913.

STEP 2: Attend a mandatory radiologic technology admissions meeting via Zoom. 

STEP 3: Register for your Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS) account and schedule the ATI TEAS exam to be taken at NPC. 

STEP 4: Take the ATI TEAS exam at the NPC testing center on the second floor of the Student Commons.

• For entrance into the exam, please bring your NPC student ID. 
• No personal items allowed such as pens, pencils, calculators, etc. The Testing Center will provide scratch paper, pencils and a calculator.
• You must meet the minimum requirement of a 60% composite score. 
  • The exam may be taken twice if you do not meet the minimum score requirement. You will need to log into your ATI TEAS account to pay for and schedule your second test. 
• Your TEAS scores are valid for two years.

STEP 5: Once you have scored 60 or higher on the ATI TEAS exam, you are elegible to submit your program application and all transcripts to the Radiologic Technology program faculty. Submission is completed through an appointment scheduled by the student.

Each student will be ranked using the Radiologic Technology Admissions Assessment rubric. 

Print Admissions Assessment Rubric

Admission process to the Radiologic Technology Program is selective. Minimum GPA (grade point average) for admission consideration is 2.75. All Science courses must be completed within the last 7 years. Grade point averages are calculated using only the pre-requisite courses required in the Radiologic Technology program, see the Radiologic Technology Admissions Assessment. Selection decisions are made after final grades are posted for the spring semester and once the full admissions process has been completed for all students.

Criteria for admission:

• Minimum 2.75 GPA (grade point average) from required pre-requisite courses. All pre-requisites must be completed with a C or better. All science courses must be completed within the last seven years.
• All students applying for the program must take the ATI TEAS Version 7 Exam. A minimum score of 60% is required to be considered for the program. This test may be taken twice per admission cycle, the second score will be used.

B. ATI TEAS TESTING

ATI TEAS Score: Students are allowed to take the TEAS two times per admissions cycle. Second TEAS attempt will be used to score.
