Sheryl Strother was born and raised in Arkadelphia, AR and graduated from Arkadelphia High School.  Strother received an Associate of Arts degree in Accounting from Ouachita Technical College in Malvern, AR, a Bachelor of Science in Business Technology Education and a Master of Science in Advanced Instructional Studies both from Henderson State University in Arkadelphia.

Strother has worked in education since 2002, serving many years as the workforce development specialist in Clark County to ensure a highly-skilled pool of workers to meet the employment demands of businesses and industries in the local area.  During that time, Strother also served as the on-site support person for the high school Industrial Equipment Maintenance Technology program offered in Arkadelphia through College of the Ouachitas.

In her free time, Strother enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, being in the outdoors, and reading.  She is also active in her church and has been a long-time volunteer with American Cancer Society Relay for Life events.

Strother is excited to be part of National Park College and have the opportunity to serve high school students through the NPC Career Academy.  Her goal is for every student to leave the program with transferable skills that will enable them to be successful in whatever next step they choose after high school.
