Pre-Admission Requirements
- Applicants must have earned an Associate of Science degree in Registered Nursing
- Applicants must possess an unencumbered registered nurse (RN) license with the state of Arkansas
- Applicants must have completed the state minimum general education core curriculum (35 hours)
- Applicants must have completed an additional 14 hours of specified courses and have at least a 2.5 cumulative GPA
- Applicants must submit all required documentation for general admission to UCA online and the Nursing Program
The following is a guide to the courses a student can take at National Park College in order to satisfy the state minimum general education curriculum and all UCA RN-to-BSN pre-admission requirements.
It is the student’s responsibility to verify that all NPC state minimum core course and prerequisite requirements are being met.
For the English/communication, mathematics, lab sciences, social or behavioral science, and additional requirements section of the general education core, students must receive a “C” or better in each class listed.
Completion of all pre-admission requirements does not guarantee admission into the UCA RN-to-BSN program.
