I am a graduate of Henderson State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business and I have a Masters of Business Administration from Webster University. I also have an Associate's Degree in Paralegal Studies and I am currently working on a Master's Degree in Economics from Southern New Hampshire University. Previous to coming to National Park College, I taught Business and Paralegal courses for 18 years at Southeast Arkansas College. I have also been involved in the antique business for 28 years, from having booths to managing my own stores for the last 13 years. When not in class, I love to read and listen to podcasts on any and all subjects and I love to work and play outdoors. Nothing makes me happier than digging and planting in my flower beds. I also spend a lot of my personal time relaxing on the water with family and friends. I love my students and one of my greatest pleasures is seeing them succeed.

I am delighted you have chosen National Park College. I have been employed at the College since 2003; I have been teaching since 1994. I attended Garland County Community College from 1989-1991 and graduated from Henderson State University in 1993 with a Bachelor of Science in Education (BSE) degree. In 2006 I completed a Master of Science in Education (MEd) degree entirely online through U of A at Fayetteville along with several other instructors right here from NPC. I enjoy spending time with my family (husband, one daughter, and many extended family), and I LOVE to shop. My family enjoys Tennessee Walking horses (Pride and Angel) for trail riding and our Congo African Gray parrot, Tara, which is so intelligent that we have to watch what we say or she repeats it! We have now added our beloved Tucker, a border collie, Australian shepherd mix. In addition, we enjoy our church family. I am EXCITED to assist you with your educational journey at National Park College.
