Jim Hale is a native of South Arkansas. An Army veteran, he was director of the Hot
Springs Family YMCA for thirteen years, and has been in the insurance business for
thirty years. He has served as a college trustee for over 25 years, as chairman three
years, and involved in various building projects around campus. He is married with
three grown children and seven grandchildren. He is active at Hot Springs Baptist
Church.
