NPC Minutes of the Board of Trustees Meeting
The National Park College Board of Trustees met in annual session on January 24, 2024, beginning at 3:05 PM. Trustees present were Mike Bush, Joyce Craft, Rhonda Harrington, Jim Hale, Lance Porter, Forrest Spicher, Renee Westfall, and Raymond Wright.
The media was notified of the meeting.
Items For Action
- Trustee Spicher made a motion to elect Joyce Craft as Chairperson, Jim Hale as Vice Chairman, and Bev Joe as Secretary. Trustee Wright seconded, and the motion passed.
- Chair Craft presented the January 25, 2023, Annual Meeting Minutes for approval. Trustee Wright made a motion to approve the 2023 Annual Meeting minutes as presented. Trustee Harrington seconded the motion, and it passed.
- Chair Craft presented the proposed 2024 meeting calendar. Trustee Spicher moved to adopt the calendar. Trustee Bush seconded the motion, and it passed unanimously.
- Chair Craft proposed to keep the Budget and Finance Committee and the Building and Campus Development Committee. Chair Craft asked that Trustee Wright continue as Chair of the Building and Campus Development Committee and Trustee Spicher continue as Chair of the Budget and Finance Committee. Trustees Wright and Spicher agreed to continue as Chair in their respective committees. It was suggested and agreed that Trustee Wright and Trustee Spicher will select committee members with membership to be announced at the next regular board meeting. Trustee Bush moved to approve the standing committees as discussed. Trustee Hale seconded the motion, and it passed unanimously.
There being no further business, Trustee Wright made a motion to adjourn. The meeting adjourned at 3:11 p.m.
