The National Park College (NPC) Nighthawks men’s basketball team (10-4) split the inaugural Nighthawk Holiday Classic in the Kettle, falling to No. 14 Mineral Area College, 87-80, on Friday and defeating Lang Prep Academy, 106-82, on Saturday.

Cameron Edds graduated from NPC’s nursing program in 2016 and works as a travel nurse for UAMS in Little Rock. After witnessing frequent problems with IV dislodgement and patient discomfort, Edds started brainstorming ways to make hospital stays easier—not only for the patient, but for everyone involved in the patient’s care.
