Tutoring Services

NPC Academic Success Center

The Academic Success Center is located on the 2nd floor of the Student Commons in room 254. Tutoring is free and offered for many subjects taught at NPC. 

Option 1: 

Meet with an NPC tutor for in-person tutoring in the Academic Success Center.

• NPC tutors are available Monday - Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
• Math and English are available every day. (See the chart below for available times.)
• Other subjects are available at limited times. (See the chart below for available days and times.)
• Appointments are required to guarantee a tutor is available; however, drop-in sessions may be available if a tutor is not scheduled. 
• Schedule a session at the appointment desk in the ASC by emailing AcademicSuccess@np.edu or by phone at 501-760-4228. Please include your contact information.

Option 2:

Meet with NPC instructors via a live Zoom session.

• NPC tutors are generally available Monday - Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., some subjects may be available after hours.
• You must schedule a session by emailing AcademicSuccess@np.edu or by phone at 501-760-4228. Please include your contact information.
• We will set up an appointment with the appropriate tutor and contact you with instructions.

Option 3:

Access tutoring 24/7 through Tutor.com.

• Tutor.com allows you to connect with a live tutor or upload a paper for review. A tutorial on tutor.com can be viewed on YouTube.
• This service covers most subjects taught at NPC and is accessed through your D2L course under the tab NPC Resources.
• You are allowed 8 hours for the semester, but you can request more hours by emailing Lisa Walker at  lwalker@np.edu.
