Academic Success Center
The Academic Success Center is located on the 2nd floor of the Student Commons in
room 254. Tutoring is free and offered for many subjects taught at NPC.
Option 1:
Meet with an NPC tutor for in-person tutoring in the Academic Success Center.
- NPC tutors are available Monday - Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Math is available every day.
- English and academic coaching is available every day except Tuesday.
- Computer science is available on Fridays.
- Other subjects are available through Tutor.com.
- Drop-ins are welcome but appointments guarantee a tutor is available.
- Schedule a session at the appointment desk in the ASC, by emailing AcademicSuccess@np.edu or by phone at 501-760-6418. Please include the subject and day you would like to schedule.
Option 2:
Access online tutoring 24/7 through Tutor.com.
- Tutor.com allows you to connect with a live tutor or upload a paper for review.
- This service covers most subjects taught at NPC and is accessed through your D2L course under the tab NPC Resources.
- You must connect through this tab to get the service for free. You are allowed 5 hours for the semester, but you can request more hours by emailing Lisa Walker at Lisa.Walker@np.edu.
