National Park College Fishing is a club sport open to any currently enrolled student. An Arkansas fishing license is required. Teams compete in the Arkansas Collegiate Series.
The club started in the fall of 2021 and members have already earned top honors across the state. NPC Fishing team members have participated in tournaments including Millwood Lake, Lake Ouachita, Greers Ferry Lake, Lake of the Pines, and Lake Dardanelle.
Tyler Maze, Luke Dodd, and MJ McIntyre qualified for the Arkansas Collegiate Series Championship on Bull Shoals Lake November 13-14, 2021. Dodd and McIntyre also qualified for the national tournament on Fort Gibson Lake in Wagoner, Oklahoma March 28- 31, 2022. They were named Team of the Year in the Arkansas Collegiate Series for 2021 out of 73 participating teams.
