Welcome Home, Nighthawks!!
The Residence Life and Housing team has been working hard in anticipation of our Fall
move-in process and we are excited to welcome our new and returning Nighthawks!
In an effort to make the arrival and move-in process as streamlined as possible, please read the following information carefully. The information on this page will be helpful as you make travel arrangements. We invite you to monitor your email and follow us on social media for more updates. We have a great year planned for our residential students and look forward to welcoming you all to campus!
With Nighthawk Pride,
Tyler Mosby,
Director of Residence Life and Housing
We will spend the weeks leading up to your move-in date calling and making sure that you have been approved to move-in. If a resident arrives to campus but is not approved, they will visit with Financial Aid and Student Accounts before they pick up their key.
Please note, our rapid drop-off process will require all residents to have approval from the Offices of Financial Aid and Student Accounts in order to receive keys to their room.
Residents arriving after 11 a.m. are not guaranteed assistance moving into their residence halls as Welcome Week events will start immediately following Move-In.
*It is going to be HOT! Please dress appropriately and stay hydrated!
Welcome Week begins after you move in! The admissions team will send you detailed schedules for all Welcome Week activities. Residence Life will also be hosting daily events leading up to classes, so keep an eye out for information regarding those events!
All mail and packages can be shipped directly to the Residence Halls by addressing it to the following:

Residents residing in Dogwood and Redbud Hall will have a post office box located in Dogwood Hall that is assigned to all residents in a unit. It is the resident’s responsibility to check the post office box regularly.
Packages are stored in Dogwood Hall using the Parcel Pending system. When you receive a package, the Office of Residence Life and Housing will place the package in a secure locker and a barcode will be sent to the email used to apply for housing (not necessarily your National Park email).
Please note that the drop zone established during the move-in process are temporary. Students who park in the areas after move-in risk being ticketed by Campus Security.
It is the resident’s responsibility to register their vehicle in order to park in residential spaces. Vehicles without a parking decal are subject to parking tickets issued by Campus Security.
