National Park College (NPC) freshman designated player Brooke LeBoeuf (Berwick, Louisiana) has been named National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division II Region 2 Player of the Week following a dominant week at the plate.
During week nine of NJCAA reporting, LeBoeuf led NPC (15-19, 7-7) offensively in a 2-2 series split with Arkansas State University-Newport. Across the four-game stretch, LeBoeuf batted .643 with nine hits—including three doubles, a triple and a home run—along with 10 RBI and three runs scored.
LeBoeuf is batting .341 for the Nighthawks this season with 31 hits, 18 runs scored, 21 RBI, 13 stolen bases and eight walks.
Currently atop the NJCAA Region 2 east division standings, the Nighthawks play host to Arkansas State University-Three Rivers for a double header at Majestic Park Thursday, April 9, beginning at noon.
