NPC Selects Head Women's Soccer Coach

Cailey Croson

National Park College (NPC) Nighthawk Athletics has announced the hiring of Cailey Croson as head women’s soccer coach.

A native of Katy, Texas, Croson joins NPC from Schreiner University, where she served as Assistant Coach. Previously, she served as Director of Goalkeeping and USC Boys Competitive Head Coach for SG1 Soccer Club in Texas.

As a player, Croson competed at the University of the Incarnate Word, where she played NCAA Division I soccer as a goalkeeper. As a student-athlete, Croson earned recognition as the 2019 Southland Conference Goalkeeper of the Year.

“National Park College is a place that challenges student-athletes to find their path, and I’m excited to bring that standard into the women’s soccer program,” Croson said. “Drawing from my experience as both a player and a coach, we will build a program rooted in accountability, development and a championship culture—preparing our student-athletes to compete at a high level while positioning them for long-term success.”

Croson becomes the first coach to lead the women’s program as a standalone position. Previously, both the men’s and women’s teams were coached by Corey Irvine, who remains as NPC’s head men’s soccer coach.
