National Park College (NPC) congratulates Hot Springs High School senior Natalia Naranjo for turning her welding training into a promising career. Naranjo attended the welding program at the NPC Career Academy this year, while completing her senior year at Hot Springs World Class High School.

Naranjo exceeded expectations for a first-year welding student, demonstrating exceptional skill, dedication and professionalism. Her performance earned her a position with Xpress Boats, where she is now part of the BackTrack Trailers team.

“Natalia is a shining example of what is possible when students commit to learning a skilled trade,” said Sheryl Strother, director of the NPC Career Academy. “Her determination and work ethic set her apart, and we are thrilled to see her take this next step into a successful career.”

The NPC Career Academy provides high school students with hands-on training and real-world experience in technical fields, preparing them for immediate employment or further education. Naranjo’s achievement highlights the program’s impact and the opportunities it creates for students in Garland County and beyond.
