Mike Prince Named NPC Cross Country And Track And Field Coach

National Park College (NPC) Nighthawk Athletics named Mike Prince as head coach of men’s and women’s cross country and outdoor track and field this week.

During his 44-year career, Prince has served as a teacher and coach for Heber Springs School District, the Athletic Director for Arkadelphia Parks and Recreation and head women’s cross country coach for Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, while also contributing numerous years of volunteerism for youth educational and athletics programs in Clark County.

“We are excited for Mike Prince to join Nighthawk Nation,” NPC Athletic Director Rich Thompson said. “Mike comes with a wealth of knowledge and experience and has hit the ground running since day one. We look forward to the future success of our programs here at NPC.”

Prince holds a Bachelor of Science in education from Henderson State University in Arkadelphia and is a recipient of the Governor’s Leadership and Fitness Award for Outstanding Contributions of Physical Activity.
