The NPC Board of Trustees approved the name during their regular monthly meeting Wednesday.

The newly constructed outdoor basketball courts were completed this month thanks to a charitable gift from the Davis and Coble families. The courts are located in the Mid-America Boulevard parking lot across from the Gerald Fisher building.

Chris Coble said, “As a family, we wanted to give back to students and a community that have given us so much in return. We hope this gift will inspire more in our community to invest in NPC students.”

“The Davis and Coble families have a long legacy of supporting the education and wellness of our young people. This gift demonstrates their commitment to that and we are thankful for their generosity,” said NPC Board Chair, Joyce Craft.

NPC President, John Hogan said, “Gifts like this are an important part of our mission of student success at NPC. I am personally grateful to the Davis and Coble families, and I know that our students are as well. Many of them are here today to express their appreciation.”
