Jackson To Present Generational Poverty, Goal Setting At NPC

Star Jackson headshotNational Park College (NPC) will host Star Jackson, executive director of the American Indian Center of Arkansas (AICA) Wednesday, October 18 from 12 to 1 p.m. in the Student Commons room CO 122. Jackson will speak about overcoming generational poverty and how to effectively set goals.

Jackson is a descendant of Tribe of Cohokia/Miami, Oklahoma. She has been the executive director of the AICA since 2014. She is a mom, wife, business owner, educator, speaker and chef. She believes in lifting people up, understanding their core needs, and giving a helping hand. She uses her life experiences to share not only how she has navigated life, but provides that knowledge and tools to help others overcome situations.
