The National Park College (NPC) Foundation will host a reception honoring the Hot Springs Giving Circle November 15 at 2 p.m. in the Student Commons second floor lobby.
The Giving Circle established the Don Munro Philanthropic Endowment in the amount of $50,000. The fund will be used to support student success and workforce readiness through NPC’s Career Services Internship program and Community and Corporate Training apprenticeships.
The Giving Circle hopes to promote the Don Munro Philanthropic Endowment Fund to help keep Munro’s name alive and provide a way for others to contribute to funding student needs and workforce readiness.
In addition to the original endowment, the Foundation received generous contributions from the Arkansas Community Foundation and the Munro Family to support this effort.
This event is free and open to the public.
