The National Park College (NPC) Nighthawk men’s and women’s cross country teams concluded
their seasons with exhibition races in the Spa Running Festival Saturday in downtown
Hot Springs.
Freshman Joseph Kollar (Little Rock) placed third overall in the 5K Run/Walk event,
finishing with a time of 18:56.33.
Sophomore Kaylie Goad (Wharton, Texas) was the Nighthawks’ top finisher in the Spa
10K run, finishing 51st overall with a time of 48:37.78. Sophomore Chloe Sosa (Snyder,
Texas) clocked in at 52:59.11 for a 79th-place overall finish, while freshman Brenda
Patiño (Bogotá, Colombia) finished 83rd with a time of 53:24.81.
