National Park College (NPC) Student Life, Counseling Services, Library, National Alliance
on Mental Illness (NAMI), Pride Hawks and United hosted a Valentine's Day Party in
the Student Commons lobby last Tuesday. Approximately 70 students, faculty, and staff
participated by picking up a sweet treat and/or making a valentine for their special
someone(s). The NPC library provided a book display and NAMI helped define healthy
and unhealthy loving relationships with their display.
“Many students lingered making Valentine’s Day cards for their loved ones, took pictures
at the photo backdrop, or grabbed a sweet treat and information from displays on their
way to class,” said SGA advisor Caysie Martin.
