National Park College (NPC) finished in first place after winning three consecutive
quiz bowl games against four other teams of Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) students.
The NPC MLT students competed in head-to-head competitions over theory-based questions
in several categories including microbiology, hematology, chemistry, immunohematology,
immunology, parasitology, and mycology.
The 2023 Arkansas Society for Clinical Laboratory Science (ASCLS) Arkansas MLT Student
Bowl was held April 13 at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS).
NPC sent a team of four people to compete against other MLT programs from across the
state.
