Led by sophomore guard Patrick Punch (Houston, Texas) and sophomore center Taylor Harrell (Huntsville, Texas), NPC scored at will out of the gate, taking a double-digit lead early and never looking back. Fueled by strong defense and rebounding, the Nighthawks took advantage of Mustangs’ turnovers and miscues to take a 57-25 lead after 20 minutes.

At halftime, NPC’s men’s and women’s soccer teams were recognized for their recent NJCAA Region 2 titles with corresponding championship banners unveiled in the Kettle.

Sophomore forward Nakavieon White (Odessa, Texas) led NPC in the second half with nine points. With the game well in hand, the Nighthawks rested their starters and spread the scoring wealth to multiple players as National Park College cruised to victory.

Punch led the Nighthawks in scoring with 17 points. White added 15 points, while Harrell finished with 11 points in the win.

The Nighthawk men play host to Missouri State University-West Plains Friday, December 1 at 7 p.m. The game will be streamed live on the Nighthawk Network.

The Nighthawk women travel to Dallas College-Mountain View Thursday, November 30 at 5 p.m.
