The National Park College (NPC) Cheerleaders brought some holiday spirit to the Garland
County Library (GCL) last month.
On November 30, the NPC Cheer team helped with Community Ornament Making Night at
GCL. The cheerleaders wore festive hats, spread cheer and helped children make ornaments.
“It was so much fun helping children create ornaments and lifetime memories. We’re
so grateful to the GC Library for allowing us to help,” said Cheer Coach, Michelle
Godwin.
Young Adult Librarian, Brittany Chavez said, “We are so grateful that the cheerleaders
were able to come and help us. We had almost a hundred people show up that night.
They showed up and each one was assigned to either an ornament or a coloring station
and they arrived quickly and helped all our patrons out. It was wonderful.”
