Freshman Jadyn Hard (Paris) went 3-4 at the plate, including a solo home run, to lead NPC in hitting. Freshman Taylor Snow (Bentonville) got the start for NPC, allowing five runs on six hits over one inning of work.

Game two started off as a high-scoring affair for the Nighthawks and Roughriders. With three runs in the first inning, NPC grabbed the lead early. Crowder answered with three runs in the second to tie the game. Behind big home runs from Hart and freshman Abigail Pittman (Valley View) NPC plated four runs in the fourth inning, erasing a 6-4 deficit and taking the lead for good in the team’s fifth victory of the season.

At the plate, Hart finished 3-3 with two doubles and a home run in the win.
