Hart Earns NJCAA National Player Of The Week

Jadyn Hart headshot in softball uniformNational Park College (NPC) Nighthawk freshman Jadyn Hart (Paris) was named the NJCAA Division II National Player of the Week for her outstanding performance on the field this week.

One week removed from earning NJCAA Region II Player of the Week honors, Hart impressed with a .583 average at the plate this week, including three home runs and seven RBI for the 7-8 National Park College Nighthawks.

Boasting a .500 average this season, Hart is tied for the team lead in hits (21) and doubles (6) with a team-leading 17 RBI for NPC. In the circle, Hart holds a 2-2 record for the Nighthawks, averaging 7.58 strikeouts per appearance with a 4.86 ERA and a team-leading 39 strikeouts.

“How impressive is that--a freshman to come in early in the season and earn a National Player of The Week honor,” NPC Athletic Director Jason Hudnell said. “It is a testament to Jadyn’s hard work, talent and Coach Autumn Wyatt’s leadership! I am extremely proud that Jadyn is being recognized for her outstanding play at the national level.”
