NPC To Host Sidney Moncrief

Sidney Moncrief headshotNational Park College (NPC) will host author and National Basketball Association (NBA) All-Star Sidney Moncrief Thursday, March 31, at 1 p.m. in the Student Commons conference center.

Moncrief will present Living Your Best Life: Achieving Peak Performance by Understanding the Four Components of Emotional Intelligence.

Moncrief was first a Razorback, playing for the University of Arkansas and leading them to the 1978 NCAA Final Four. He went on to play 11 seasons in the NBA for 10 seasons with the Milwaukee Bucks. He was a five-time NBA All-Star and won the first two NBA Defensive Player of the Year awards in 1983 and 1984. He was elected to the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2019. Coach Moncrief is currently managing partner of Moncrief One Team, a people development company specializing in team enhancement, leadership, diversity and inclusion, and career readiness.
