Suzuki Donates Boat Engine
The National Park College (NPC) Marine Technology program recently received a boat
motor from Suzuki. The motor is a 350-horsepower engine valued at $33,500.
Donations from industry leaders help NPC students maintain training and education
with the newest equipment. Students can now study the unique functions of this extremely
popular engine and better prepare themselves for working in the marine repair industry.
Marine technology instructor Delmar Hunter stated, “Students can set up digital controls,
familiarize themselves with fuel systems, and even become proficient in dual station
rigging with the addition of this engine to the marine program. We are so proud to
have Suzuki as an industry partner that believes in our program at NPC.”
