The grant will help students through wellness initiatives such as housing, clothing assistance, food insecurities, supplies and more.

Executive director of the NPC Foundation, Nicole Herndon said, “We appreciate the generosity of both the Oaklawn Foundation and the United Way. Many of today’s students want to continue their education and yet face many financial obstacles. The purpose of this fund is to bridge that gap by providing financial assistance to students faced with everyday challenges. It is another step in the right direction when focusing on student success.”
