The National Park College Technology Center (NPTC) hosted their second annual engineering
open house on Tuesday.
The open house displayed capstone projects from second year high school engineering
students. The class is called Engineering Design and Development and is the capstone
class for the Project Lead The Way (PLTW) engineering curriculum.
Some of the projects on display included a snake bite kit, a video imaging system
to identify when objects are left on top of your car, and a “fidget glove” for use
in coping with ADHD symptoms in a quiet environment.
