The National Park College (NPC) Recycling and Sustainability Committee and Child Care
Aware held an Earth Day celebration Friday with activities from community vendors
and land management agencies.
Over 100 participants enjoyed visiting vendors, including representatives from the Northwoods Trails, Ozark Monarch Conservation Partnership, US Forest Service, Diamond Lakes Association of Master Naturalists, Arkansas Game and Fish Commission, Arkansas Recycling Association, Lovit Café, Spa City Cycling, Community Gardening, Lavender Farms, mat-making for the homeless, Local Flora, the Helping Hawks Food Pantry, and Hot Springs Storm Water Division.
